About Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord

On a hot summer day in the year 1066, the army of William the Conqueror marched into England to claim the throne. The Normans had conquered Sicily and Wales, but England would be their most difficult challenge yet.

The Saxons would not give up their country without a fight, however. Led by King Harold Godwinson, they took up arms against the invaders at the Battle of Hastings.

The Norman Conquest changed the course of English history forever. Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord takes place 200 years before this momentous event occurred.
