The Crew Motorfest: Rev Up For An Epic Racing Adventure

I've been a fan of car culture and open-world world racing games for a long time. Racing games have come a long way from the early days of Need For Speed Underground 2 and Test Drive Unlimited to the recent Forza Horizon series. The Crew is one of my favorite open-world racing series. The Crew Motorfest (The Crew 3) looks like a fantastic addition, and I'm excited to play it when it comes out.

The Crew Motorfest is an upcoming racing game set to release in 2023. The game will be set on the island of O’ahu in Hawaii and will feature a festival theme. Players can take control of various vehicles, including cars, planes, and boats, and compete in races against other online players. The Crew and The Crew 2 used a scaled-down version of the USA; The Crew 3 is a scaled-down part of the Hawaiian archipelago. A new location sounds exciting for this sequel, as long as the Ivory Tower (the developer) can incorporate different environments, to make the game feel less redundant.

Welcome To The Festival

Taking a queue from Forza Horizon (I'm assuming), The Crew decided to try a similar approach. The Crew Motorfest website claims it will be "a one-of-a-kind festival," but we won't know for sure how much of a knockoff it is until the game comes out. Check out the Crew Motorfest insider program for those wanting to help Ubisoft Ivory Tower shape the final phases and try the game before release. The insider program is currently available on a closed test track. An open beta is not public at this time.

Feel the legacy of The Crew franchise on the beautiful island of O'ahu. From the city streets of Honolulu to the curvy mountain roads, lush rainforests, and sandy beaches, the island of O'ahu offers plenty of open world variety. The best open-world action-driving experience will have racing fans hooked from race one. Getting behind the wheel of the most legendary vehicles ever made will feel amazing, whether it's the sunny beach or ashy volcano slopes.

A Diverse Biome To Explore

The Hawaiian island of Oahu is a beautiful island with a diverse Biome. It has rainforests, mountain roads, city streets, and beaches. Different events take place in each of these biomes. You can compete in races, drift competitions, or free-roam and explore the island. The Crew Motorfest will let you experience all of these in one game.

Motorfest Offers Never Ending Racing Gameplay

Various custom races themed events and other unique challenges will allow you to fulfill your ultimate driving bucket list during the event. There is something for everyone in there. Even if you don't want to race, just driving around to enjoy the scenery is acceptable.

When will The Crew 3 be released?

The game is set to be released sometime in 2023. Based on previous release dates, the game will probably arrive between June and December, but that's speculation. The Crew was released on December 02, 2014, and The Crew 2 was released on June 29, 2018.

Can I play The Crew Motorfest for free?

Amazon Luna subscribers can play The Crew Motorfest for free. Otherwise, the game will cost $69.99 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Subscribers of Ubisoft+ may get a discount, but it's uncertain if they can play for free.
